Sunset at Main is an example of The Pinyon Group’s expertise in public private partnerships and the development of infill transit-oriented mixed-income housing.
The Pinyon Group was awarded the opportunity to ground lease and develop the former Venice Bus Yard Site in Venice, California through a competitive procurement process administered by the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro)–beating out several competitors including a large publicly traded REIT.
Sited in the heart of Venice, two blocks from the Pacific Ocean, and connecting the vibrant Main Street and Abbot Kinney corridors, the proposed Sunset at Main development consists of 341 mixed-income rental units (consisting of townhomes, lofts, and apartments), and 30,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space lining a publicly accessible paseo.
The project is being designed by world-renowned architecture firm Marmol Radziner. Community outreach is underway.
